About Us

Aiming to Succeed is a Non-Profit Organization created to provide financial assistance to youth high school seniors, youth league athletes, and church youth group members. We partner with institutions and facilitate funding through our scholarship programs.

Our Founder

Carlos Watson, Founder of Aiming to Succeed was born in Detroit, MI and raised in Radcliff, KY. During his time in Kentucky, he attended North Hardin High School, now the home of the “It’s Your Farewell” Scholarship. His childhood was built upon three core pillars: faith, education, and athletics. In 2021, he established Aiming to Succeed, a non-profit foundation that revolves around those core pillars. The foundation’s primary focus is to provide financial assistance to youth, including high school seniors, youth league athletes, and church youth group members. Aiming to Succeed collaborates with various organizations to facilitate funding through scholarship programs. One such program is the “It’s Your Farewell” senior year scholarship, which grants recipients financial support for senior dues, a cap and gown, a prom ticket, and a yearbook. Carlos and his team are dedicated to giving back to the communities that have shaped them. Through Aiming to Succeed, they strive to make a positive impact by offering support and opportunities to youth in need. Join them in their mission to empower and uplift the next generation.
